The LayerBulletin Project was founded by Andy Rixon, Andy wanted to create a simple to use bulletin board system.
LayerBulletin started off as a simple "Topic View" system, back when it was called GeekBB, but then Andy decided to upgrade and change the name, now LayerBulletin contains many features that the top brands uses in their software.
LayerBulletin is funded by Donations from its users, so if you like the software and feel its worth some money, why not help out and donate.
